10/6 2011 D-day minus 8.
The motorcycle is now in transit to Savona Italy. The journey will take 8 days.
Thanks to the superb service from Manda Navigation and their team, all the paperwork and loading went like a dream. These guys are truly professionals.
It took only 2 hours before all documents were finalized and the bike was loaded onboard MV Grande Ellade en route to Savona Italy.
Only one incident, the helmet fell on the tarmac, which ruined the locking mechanism for the visor. With a bit of luck Ttommys motor, Larnaca will fix it in a few days or it will have to be replaced.
It feels a bit empty without the Varadero in the driveway but we will meet soon again.PS the bike has been officially christened to “Malte the Cat” for this trip.
